Episode 26 of Scarlet Nexus was the concluding episode for this season. The episode takes place sometime after the Kunad Gate disappears.
Kasane, a commander now along with Shiden, meets a recovering Yuito. Yuito tells the gang that he is going to leave the OSF. They later meet Fubuki and his fiance, who is alive and well.
She and Fubuki announce they will get married, making Yuito and Kasane feel second-hand dejection for Karen. No one but those two remember Karen, who sacrificed himself. Will he ever come back?

Fans are eager for the series to come back with a season 2. Some watchers are not on the same page since many feel the anime did not do justice to the game
Yuito reveals that he’ll go to college and join politics later, and some think it might be because he lost his psionic powers. Only a second season can tell.
Everyone has forgotten Karen, and fans hope that Yuito or Kasane will bring him back. We’re all hoping he can reunite with Alice.

Episode 26 Recap
Beginning sometime after the war, ” others” still attack parts of the city. Shiden has been made commander of a platoon. Kasane is a commander herself. As she chats with Shiden, a reminder about her meeting with Yuito pops up.
She goes out to meet him, and we see that he’s in a wheelchair. She takes him to Shiden’s table, and he informs them that he is leaving the OSF. Gemma tells them he will retire too as soon as he gets the letter.
Tsumugi and Hanabi are spotted together. Yuito asks Hanabi how she is since her uncle carried out those heinous experiments and was caught. She said she was glad that things had been made right.
Alice is a commander now and will be marrying Fubuki soon. No one seems to be put off by the news more than Yuito and Kasane. It is revealed that no one remembers Karen.
Karen went back in time and swapped his existence for Alice’s, and it’s like he never existed. Initially, only the ones connected to red strings remembered, but soon everyone but Yuito and Kasane forgot.
Kasane will leave for the moon surface expedition and to wipe out the Togetsu. Yuito decides to go to college and pursue a career in politics.
