Episode 25 of Scarlet Nexus starts with Karen trying to attack Yuito and being stopped by Fubuki. When told that this isn’t what Alice would have wanted, he is miraculously convinced.
Fubuki catches Karen as he falls due to exhaustion, and Yuito has to faint too because he’s the center of the universe.
It is decided that Yuito and Kasane will move the Kunad Gate to consume the extinction belt. Later, they would go to the Chronos terminal to solve the entanglements with Karen. Here are the latest updates.
Episode 26 Speculations
Karen acted as if he had changed, but we know it was all just a ruse. He could never give up on saving Alice and was biding his time. In the end, we see him traveling back in time to Alice as a child.
When the Kunad Gate vanishes, we get to see half of her face smiling knowingly.
Karen managed to save Alice at the cost of his own. That’s such a cliche, and here we were, thinking something would happen between Karen and Fubuki.
Alice is alive now, so the question is will her existence cause any further entanglements since originally she was supposed to be dead?

Episode 25 Recap
Karen tries to copy Yuito’s psionic powers once again and is stopped by Fubuki and his ice wall. Fubuki tells him that with so many people against him, there was no way he could attack Yuito, and Alice would have liked him to live well.
The two comrades have a moment, and Karen falls into his arms. Yuito promptly faints, and both he and Karen wake up in hospital beds. Things have gotten worse with the extinction belt descending, and the Kunad Gate continues to grow at an unprecedented rate.
Fubuki brings Karen to Yuito’s room and informs him of the situation. Their action plan requires Yuito to use his gravikinesis and red strings, along with Kasane.
They would need to move the Kunad Gate to consume the extinction belt. Karen would be facilitating the whole process of connecting them to other citizens, including his friends. Yuito and Kasane successfully move the gate towards the extinction belts.
Yuito’s brain is overpowered, and he loses consciousness. It results in the lowering of the extinction belt, and the birds flying at that altitude are transformed into others. Karen takes matters into his own hands and connects himself to Arahabaki.
The belt disappears, and now they must erase the gate with Karen’s help, but he steals their powers for one last time. We see Alice as a little girl standing in a lonely place. Karen visits her and immediately leaves. The Kunad Gate disappears, revealing a blue sky.
