This episode opened with a discussion about a beauty contest in Miyano’s classroom.
Everyone asked him to cross-dress since he had feminine looks, and he reluctantly agreed. He discusses it with Hirano and the discipline committee president, complaining how he didn’t want to do it.
We also saw Sasaki getting jealous for the first time. When he saw Miyano talking to his ex-crush, it made him feel weird, and he pulled the two away from each other. They then shared a romantic moment but were soon interrupted.

The next episode will continue with the cultural festival. The president of the discipline committee could bring outfits for Miyano as promised, and we might see him in a girlish attire.
Also, since Kuresawa is Miyano’s substitute, he might try on some wigs or cosplays.
It’ll be interesting to see what Sasaki thinks of this and how Miyano handles the cross-dressing since he’s already conscious about his physique and looks.
The next episode is titled “I realized,” implying that Miyano finally realizes his feelings towards Sasaki. We don’t know how exactly he discovers this, but it will take some time for him to actually accept these new feelings.

Episode 7 Recap
The cultural festival is around the corner, and there’s going to be a beauty contest. One student from each class has to dress up like a girl and participate in the competition.
Miyano has been chosen from his class due to his short stature and delicate features. He complains about this to Hirano and the discipline committee president, admitting that he only agreed because his classmates desperately wanted to win.
The president makes a comment about how the school council projects their fetishes onto the cultural festival every year. He offers to bring Miyano some of his sister’s cosplays to try out, and he agrees.
As he sorts out some boxes, he finds a pack of cards and asks Miyano and Hirano to play with him, saying that the loser has to lock the room after everyone leaves.
Sasaki enters the room midway, and the president excuses himself, saying that he has to leave for some important work.
Sasaki takes his place, and as the game progresses, Miyano loses easily. Hirano leaves the two alone, and Sasaki accompanies Miyano as he locks up the class and hands over the key to their teacher.
On their way back home, Sasaki asks Miyano to wait for him while buying a drink. While waiting, Miyano meets his middle school crush and casually talks with her.
The conversation stirs to point when she asks him to compare their hand sizes. Sasaki pulls Miyano away before their palms touch but apologizes instantly since he doesn’t want to seem forceful.
Miyano assures Sasaki that he doesn’t like the girl anymore, and romantic tension builds up between them. Sasaki moves forwards to hug Miyano, but their moment is interrupted when two boys run past them.
Embarrassed, they walk to the station and return home. The next day, Sasaki meets Kuresawa early in the morning before school.
Kuresawa tells him that he will visit his girlfriend in the hospital nearby and enquires if Sasaki has a part-time job in that area.
Sasaki points towards a bakery and tells him that his family runs it. Kuresawa then invites him to meet his girlfriend, but Sasaki refuses, thinking it was a bad time to intrude.
Upon reaching school, Sasaki meets Miyano and asks him if he read the sequel to the manga he lent him in summer. He bought the book because he was excited about the story.
Miyano is happy to hear this and thanks Sasaki, with his beautiful smile. Sasaki is flustered and excuses himself to class, shy to show his red face to Miyano.
