Episode 2 of Sasaki and Miyano, titled “Someone I Like,” is the latest installment of the anime.
In this episode, Sasaki’s feelings towards Miyano started growing romantically. After Miyano eats a pocky directly from his hand, he becomes flustered to the point that he has to physically stop himself from being too affectionate towards him.
Miyano, too, becomes flushed red after Sasaki casually says he likes him. As the two boys get closer, their friends can’t help but notice their blossoming relationship.

Episode 3 Speculation
In the next episode, we’ll be introduced to a new character, Jiro Ogasawara, one of Sasaki’s classmates. His girlfriend is into BL, which irks him because she sometimes fantasizes about him being with another boy.
We’ll see what he thinks about Miyano’s obsession with BL since he’s clearly not a fan. Miyano and Sasaki will continue getting closer and slowly start realizing their feelings for each other.

Episode 2 Recap
Sasaki waits for Miyano as school ends, wanting to travel together. Miyano excuses himself, saying that he needs to go to a bookstore. Sasaki asks him if he could tag along, and Miyano reluctantly agrees.
Not wanting to be seen together, Miyano asks Sasaki to stand a few stalls away because shopping for BL together could give people the wrong idea. Sasaki happily obliges since he’s delighted to just be with Miyano.
The next day, Sasaki comes to Miyano’s classroom, asking him for the next volume of a BL manga. Miyano gives it to him but asks him why he reads BL because he clearly wasn’t a fudanshi.
Sasaki simply replies that he reads it because he wants to learn more about the person he likes. This makes Miyano blush furiously, and he pushes him away, asking his senpai to hurry to his class.
Miyano’s friends tease him about Sasaki, but he assures them that it is his natural behavior. Later that day, Sasaki finds Miyano listening to something with his earphones on. He greets him and takes one of the earphones to hear what Miyano is listening to.
It turns out that a BL drama CD was playing, which made Miyano extremely embarrassed. Sasaki doesn’t judge him for it and thinks it was pretty cute.
At the end of the day, Miyano is on journal duty, and Sasaki visits him and asks him to play the chicken game with him. The game involves two players who keep biting the opposite ends of a pocky as their faces move closer. The first one to turn away loses.
Miyano refuses to play, and Sasaki then asks him to at least eat the candy. He stretches out his hand and offers him the pocky.
Miyano takes a bite while it’s still in Sasaki’s hand. This makes him flustered, and he tells Sasaki to let go of the other end. Sasaki agrees and gives him the pocky. He proceeds to head out after gifting Miyano the entire box.
On his way back, Sasaki realizes Miyano’s effect on him. His heartbeat rises, and he decides to avoid any physical contact with Miyano since too much affection could scare him away.
The episode ends with Sasaki and Miyano entering a chocolate shop adorned with Valentine’s Day presents.
Sasaki suggests that they should buy each other some chocolates, but Miyano declines the offer. Already knowing that he’d refuse, Sasaki smiles at Miyano’s cute behavior.
