4. Recap of Chapter 45
This chapter continues with Minimalist at the Sakamoto store asking Aoi for Mr. Sakamoto. Aoi mentions that her husband is out and at a healing center. Minimalist not buying her words clarifies him being serious by crushing the register into a ball.
Splitting the counter in half, Minimalist grabs Aoi’s neck and tells her if she doesn’t cooperate, she’ll end up like the register. To Minimalist’s surprise, Aoi breaks his elbow and stabs him in the neck.
Not yet dead, Minimalist finds Nagumo disguised as Aoi and understands he’s one of the S-Rank assassins. Nagumo goofs around about why his knife didn’t kill Minimalist as it was a toy. Minimalist rescinds being lied to and mentions Nagumo will die.
Nagumo quickly gets next to him and says he is looking after the store as a favor from a friend, and no such thing will happen. Meanwhile, Heisuke is trying to find the serial killers in the tower spots one of them.
Apart casually doing his psychotic thing gets shot by Heisuke’s snipper bullet. Apart blocks the shot, which surprises Heisuke, and finds out Apart is already on his tail. Trying to evade Apart, Heisuke aims to shoot but gets his gun cut to pieces.
Heisuke then gets caught in Apart’s wires and almost gets sliced. Heisuke is calm and, being relieved, mentions how lucky he is that Mr. Sakamoto was close by. Mr. Sakamoto appears and attacks Apart, saving Heisuke.
Apart getting back up mentions how it has been a while since someone struck him. He says to Mr. Sakamoto if he’s that strong, he might understand Apart well. Mr. Sakamoto gets ready and feels he’s in better shape today.
