Chapter 30 showed us the final faceoff between Sakamoto and Kashima. You know that the fight was serious from the fact that Sakamoto had to lose a lot of weight to cope up with Kashima’s speed.
In the end, Sakamoto annihilated him just like everyone else who faced him. However, he made sure not to hit his vital points, thereby following the no-kill rule of his family.
The person whom Kashima was mentioning as his master is still a mystery to us. Is he the one behind the mass murder of hitmans in Japan? We bring you the latest chapter updates of this manga.
1. Chapter 31 Discussions and Predictions
In Chapter 31, Sakamoto, Lu, and Shin will head back towards their shop before dinner time. The Okutabi museum incident was quite a trouble for them, and our friendly ex-hitmans will be taking a well-deserved break from fighting.
Lu will apologize to Shin for treating him rudely and ridiculing his clairvoyant powers. Shin’s tragic backstory has moved her, and she has started to understand him better.
Asakura will also apologize to Shin for turning him into a human weapon. I think he will forgive him this time since he has learned to accept himself for who he is.
The upcoming chapter may also give us hints about this mysterious person X, who killed about a hundred assassins in the last few months.

5. Chapter 30 Recap
I. Kashima’s Tragic Backstory
Chapter 30 is a conscience chapter that takes us to the final fight between Kashima and Sakamoto. It shows us once again how dangerous Sakamoto can be once he gets serious.
The chapter starts with flashbacks of Kashima’s past when everyone avoided him for his weird sense of justice. His colleagues and friends were scared of him and treated him as some kind of freat.
Just when he was on the verge of breaking down, his master showed up and gave him a place to belong from. In other words, the mysterious person (masters) made good use of Kashima’s situation and earned his loyalty.
II. Sakamoto vs. Kashima
Coming back to the ongoing fight in the train, Sakamoto handles Kashima’s attacks making sure no one around them is harmed. He reads Kashima’s moves like an open book and overpowers him every time.
With no other option left, Kashima resorts to the hidden cannon on his chest and blasts him out of the train. However, the legendary hitman manages to return after taking a detour around the railway tracks.
Kashima knew that his end is near, so he tries to justify his actions, but he was too late for that. Sakamoto annihilates him with a punch and bluntly claims that he doesn’t want him to mess with his family.
With that, the arc comes to an end. But who was the “master” who brainwashed Kashima? Is he the one responsible for the mass murders of assassins in Japan? We will find that out in the upcoming chapters.
