2. Recap of Chapter 206 of Sakamoto Days
Chapter 206 of Sakamoto Days started out with the reveal that JAA would be siding with X because the era of assassins was coming to an end. This was because, in modern times, there are better alternatives to assassination, and people simply prefer to do social ostracism rather than an assassination. This, along with stricter surveillance in places, made it increasingly difficult to carry out assassinations. JAA hoped that X would bring about the era of assassins so that they could thrive again and wield their power with no fear.
Sakamoto did not side with this opinion, but that didn’t matter, as Sakamoto could only escape if he managed to defeat the Order members, who were asked to defeat Sakamoto’s party in three minutes. Osaragi threw out a wide ranged attack that would’ve killed everyone if it weren’t for Shin, who predicted the move and asked everyone to jump to avoid it. He then tried to incapacitate her, but he highly underestimated the strength of an assassin from the Order and ended up getting bashed into the wall.
Meanwhile, Heisuke, who couldn’t accept that Shishiba had sided with X, was getting overwhelmed by attacks. Meanwhile, Hard Boiled stood no chance against Tanabata, who pierced through his chest in an instant. Torres was fighting Sakamoto, and he was probably the only member who had a tough opponent. Sakamoto asked Oki to have their fight relocated as he didn’t want to put any bystanders in danger, as per JAA rules. Oki told Sakamoto that the new JAA had no such rules, then revealed to him that his shop with his wife and daughter got attacked.
This had Sakamoto overwhelmed, as there was nothing he could do at the moment to protect them. Oki seized this opportunity to kill Sakamoto and lunged at him. Luckily, Kindaka popped up in the nick of time to save Sakamoto. Everyone was shocked to see that Yotsumura also made an appearance here. He raised his blade at Oki and asked him not to move. These reinforcements were exactly what Sakamoto’s group needed to escape their current situation.
3. Speculation for Chapter 207 of Sakamoto Days
The timely appearance of Yotsumura and Kindaka really saved the day, but we cannot be sure if three 3 ex-Order members are enough to tackle five members of the Order. Given that Sakamoto isn’t too shaken up by the attack at his house, we can expect the group to put up a good fight. Many fans expect Shishiba to switch sides, as his siding with X certainly goes against his principles. If he switches sides, then we can also expect Osaragi to tag along, which would change the tide of their battle.
While not much about X’s current plans can be predicted at this point, we are half-certain that Sakamoto’s family is safe. This is because of Nagumo’s absence in Sakamoto’s fight. If Nagumo won’t appear in Sakamoto’s fight in the upcoming chapter, he’s very likely with Sakamoto’s family, so they are likely safe, hopefully.
