2. Recap of Chapter 205 of Sakamoto Days
Chapter 205 of Sakamoto Days started with Slur’s Japan-wide broadcast, revealing his future plans with the country. He informed the general public about the existence of the JAA and the number of assassins they housed. He told them that they were a government body that was being funded by the government so they could have dangerous bureaucrats and law enforcers silenced.
Slur then emphasized how he didn’t think that there was any worth in the human lives that assassins painstakingly saved. He explained how he wanted kindhearted people to live kindhearted lives but later realized that humans are violent creatures at heart, and kindness is nothing but an illusion maintained by the most privileged. To prove this, he said he’d be providing all citizens with a gun and three bullets, and they’d be given the choice to kill any individual of their liking without having any consequences.
Most people thought the broadcast was just a sham, but Slur brought in the prime minister a moment later and had him explain that the government was actually under the control of the new JAA, and they had already procured over 120 million guns to serve their purpose.
He then responded to a few YouTube comments and informed the viewers of the broadcast that their guns would be available at their nearest JAA center. He let them know that they’d have a life full of freedom and disorder, but he also hinted at his hope that this new change would birth a society based on kindness, just like the one Rion wanted.
3. Speculation for Chapter 206 of Sakamoto Days
Since the latest chapter of Sakamoto Days ended with Sakamoto and the others in shock on hearing Slur’s plans, we can expect the next chapter to pick up from there. Sakamoto is definitely not going to accept the new JAA, as his family is going to be in grave danger if there were people walking around with loaded guns.
Since Sakamoto wouldn’t be able to fight off the existing Order members on his own, we can expect Nagumo, Kindaka, and Yotsumura to show up to save them.
