2. Recap of Chapter 203 of Sakamoto Days
Chapter 203 of Sakamoto Days picked up where the previous chapter ended: right when the shipwrecked and Ando’s death. It would seem that Shin was just as much of a wreck as the ship was because he hated himself for not choosing to give his father a proper farewell. Sakamoto sensed this, too, so after he reported to Nagumo about their situation, he told them that he’d be lying low in the area for around a year. He then told Shin that he was a genuinely kind-hearted person, which was why he chose to save lives, knowing that it would cost him a lot.

Shin told Sakamoto that he couldn’t forgive himself for waiting to kill Tenkyu for a brief moment. Sakamoto responded by saying that there is no such thing as a completely good person. Compared to the evil in Sakamoto’s heart, he could still wholeheartedly say that Shin was a good person, and he told Shin that he loved him for who he was. This was enough to console Shin, who apologized to Sakamoto and told him that he’d snapped back to his senses, to which Sakamoto responded by killing Shin in his mind, because he got irritated by Shin looking downcast.
After this, we finally got back to Heisuke, who was still facing off against Torres. Atari seemed shocked to see that Heisuke had held on for that long. He still didn’t seem ready to back down from the fight either, despite being torn up. His sole reason for sticking to the fight was for his friends, who had entrusted the battle to him. Atari was possibly moved by his conviction, or the promised 10 minutes may have passed since their bet was placed because she stepped up and told Torres that his chances of winning had dropped because she saw his luck wither.

That wasn’t enough to stop Torres, though; however, Sakamoto and Shin showed up in the nick of time and punched Torres away, proving Atari’s precognition. They had a moment of reunion, but it was short-lived as Torres came crashing through the wall, caught hold of Hoshi, and held her hostage. Luckily, when Heisuke is with his allies, he is guaranteed not to miss his target, so he shot at Torres, who unfortunately blocks it. This gave them the opening to escape, though, so all of them ran to escape the prison.

Torres was sure that they wouldn’t be able to escape. Sakamoto and Co. still made it far through the prison. We even got to see a very riled-up Boiled (Sakamoto had passed by him earlier when he went downstairs), who was being restrained by Joe Shackles. The chapter ended with Sakamoto and his group crashing into Boiled and Joe in their attempt to escape the prison.
3. Speculation of Chapter 204 of Sakamoto Days
Since the latest chapter of Sakamoto Days featured a mysterious figure in the end, most people would be really curious to know who the person is. While it isn’t certain yet, the man is very likely a member of the order. Chapter 204 will follow Sakamoto and his group through their prison break. Since Torres said they will very likely not be able to escape the prison, we can assume a huge obstacle to show up in the next chapter.
The authors note also mentioned a mass breakout that will take place in the assassins’ prison, which will birth a heated battle. So we can expect the subsequent chapters to be action-packed, and since Sakamoto, Shin and Heisuke are together now, we can expect them to put up a great fight.
