No, Sakamoto Days will have its upcoming chapter released on Sunday as per schedule, without any delay.

2. Recap of Chapter 201 of Sakamoto Days

Chapter 201 starts with Shin pointing the revolver at his father, with much killing intent. Ikari was getting really riled up and asked Sakamoto to stop Shin from shooting Ando, and Sakamoto followed through and warned Shin to not shoot, as it could result in the detonation of the bomb, which would risk the lives of all the passengers in the ship.

Shin, whose blood was still boiling, did not drop the revolver. He was still ticked off at his own father, who tried to kill him. Ando tried to test Shin’s patience by saying he couldn’t pull the trigger, as he came to find his own dad, but he wouldn’t want to put the lives of many innocent people at risk for personal revenge. He may have pushed his luck a bit too much because Shin reached the end of his patience and pulled the trigger. The bullet wound on Ando’s shoulder really enraged Ikari, who charged at Shin and slashed at him, but Ando stopped in the nick of time and parried Ikari’s attack for Shin.

Shin had no real intention to pull the trigger, as all he wanted was an apology. His emotions got the best of him, and now, after his father risked his life for him and showed him a shred of the fatherly love he possessed, Shin turned into a teary mess and cursed the injured man for not having been there for him previously.

While Shin was busy crying on the floor, Sakamoto told him that Ando hadn’t died and that he’d momentarily live so long as his bleeding was stopped. He then told him that he needed to disarm the bomb when Ando was still alive in order to save all the passengers of the ship. He asked Shin to stay put as he didn’t want him to miss his final moments with his father. Right after Sakamoto left, Ando told Shin the exact location of the bomb and asked him to follow Sakamoto. The chapter ended with Ando promising Shin that he’d hold up until Shin got back.

3. Speculation of Chapter 202 of Sakamoto Days

Since the latest chapter of Sakamoto Days ended with Sakamoto heading toward the engine bay to disarm the bomb, we can expect the next chapter to feature Shin following Sakamoto’s lead. Ando has given him the exact location of the bomb so he can save a lot of Sakamoto’s time, and they could return before Ando’s death so Shin could be with his father during his last moments.

We cannot ignore the possibility that Ando gave Shin the location of the bomb, knowing that he wouldn’t live long enough for Sakamoto to disarm the bomb in time. If this is true, they are in a race against time, and the lives of all the passengers are fused to a time bomb. Regardless, Ando’s fate is set in stone, and he’d likely be dead by the time Shin returns after disarming the bomb.
