Recap of Sakamoto Days Chapter 175 

Sakamoto Days chapter 175 is titled Karma, unveiling Uzuki’s backstory. The manga begins showing Uzuki waiting at the destination as specified by Asaki. Asaki had promised him to release his friends from the Al-Kamar orphanage if he killed the person as he was instructed. Asaki continues to be lost in thought, waiting for his prey. 

Meanwhile, Rion is escorting her client to the destination. She gets suspicious when the vehicle changes the escort route unexpectedly. When questioned, the driver explained that it was the CEO’s order, and her job was to eliminate the assassins. She gets more suspicious and asks to stop the car, but the left front tire suddenly explodes. 

She jumped out of the vehicle, asking the driver to escape with the client, and went on to confront the person responsible. She was attacked and thrown away but managed to remove the hood of the attacker to reveal Uzuki. A stunned Rion got stabbed, resulting in her hood slipping off. Now, it’s time for Uzuki to be surprised and distraught by his action. 

He questions himself and why it had to be Rion, to which she explains that she wanted to protect him and his friends as this world needs kind people. His mourning is interrupted by Asaki who tells him that he chose his actions and effects. Uzuki gets shot by Sakamoto, but he survives because of his medical condition – situs inversus, where a person’s vitals are present on the other side of the body. 

As he drags himself through the street bloodied, no one comes forward to help him, which makes him question the kindness of the world. He goes to the orphanage, kills everyone in his way, and releases his friends, thereby forming their group. He swears to eliminate everything in his way as he no longer cares for the world. 

Expected Plot 

With Uzuki’s backstory revealed, we can expect a more detailed introduction for the members of his group, specifically Gozu and Tenkyu. The manga might return to the present timeline in the next chapter. The order might confront Uzuki for his actions. There is also a chance for them to concentrate on Sakamoto’s National Store Chain plan.
