We received no updates on Mafuyu and the others, as chapter 148 was completely focused on Sakamoto and Toramaru. So, in the next chapter, we might see what their plan of action is. Sakamoto’s first priority is to get the bomb out of Toramaru, but he can’t do that himself and definitely not in a place where assassins are looking for them everywhere.
He will probably search for Natsuki and the others since he’s the one who can get the bomb out with no harm and then get everyone out of the museum. The assassins notice the two of them running deeper into the museum, and they decide to let them proceed since a certain someone is waiting there for them. Sakamoto and Toramaru enter a souvenir shop to change their outfits, and he buys some origami paper along with the t-shirts.
As he went to the cash counter to pay for the items, the cashier asked if he needed a bag. Sakamoto sees through his ploy and tells Toramaru to get down. He dodges the gunshot from the cashier and stabs him in the arm with a toy. He then uses him as a shield as he shoots the other assassins with the gun.
The two of them get out of there and enter the “Japan’s Historic Assassin Area”. They are attacked by an assassin in a ninja outfit using a kusarigama. To counter his attack, Sakamoto picks up a music player and earphones and starts using them like a kusarigama.
The assassin underestimates Sakamoto’s fighting prowess and is met with a powerful attack from his side. He quickly gets a hold of himself and pulls out a katana as he jumps towards him. In the blink of an eye, Sakamoto brings out an origami shuriken and throws it at him, breaking the katana.
Many more assassins rush in there to stop him. He tells Toramaru there’s nothing wrong with being someone’s fan, but sometimes turning that admiration in her own direction is necessary. He tells her that sometimes she needs to be her own fan. He quickly takes down the last few assassins there and stands triumphant.
