Uzui and Sakamoto lock horns in chapter 120 of Sakamoto Days, titled “Final.”

It was an enjoyable chapter with some good action scenes. We got a lot of throwbacks to Akao. The chapter itself starts with a conversation between her and her friends. 

However, the fierce battle between Sakamoto and Uzui started and ended pretty quickly. I was really hoping for the battle to go on and for Sakamoto to take some damage, but that can’t really happen with an overpowered protagonist.

1. Chapter 121 Speculations

We will return to the present time as the flashback ends in chapter 121 of Sakamoto Days.

The long flashback finally concludes, and now it is time to see what Master Slur’s next step toward the destruction of JAA will be. We still don’t know the reason behind killing of Akao. 

The flashback was an interesting ride, and from here on, we can expect more of Sakamoto’s past getting revealed. We still don’t know what happened to Uzui and how he made an escape. So, the next chapter will probably be about that.

The chapter starts with Akao talking to Nagumo and Sakamoto about opening an assassination company where she will be the CEO and take fifty percent of the business. 

Sakamoto confronts Uzui and asks him why he killed Akao. Uzui replies that nothing will change even if he tells him. He tells Sakamoto that JAA had enslaved him, and now he is completely free.

Without wasting time, they both attack. Sakamoto grabs him and throws him away, but Uzui still attacks him with his long weapon.  

Sakamoto fires at him, but Uzui blocks all the bullets with his weapon and tries to enchain Sakamoto with it. He escapes the trap and uses Uzui’s own weapon against him and throws him high up. 

Uzui gets up again to attack, but Sakamoto slices him up with the long weapon and overwhelms him. He crushes Uzui to the ground and points a gun at him. 

Uzui tells him not to shoot in the head, to which Sakamoto agrees. Uzui further exclaims that he is tired. The scene ends with a bang, but we don’t see Uzui dying.  

     

We return to the present, where Kashima calls out for Master Slur and asks him what he is doing. Uzui replies that he was just reminded of something very embarrassing from the past. 

He tells Kashima that assassins should think about their last words as they don’t know when their time might come. The chapter ends with a panel of Akao.
