The series have started with the much-awaited arc regarding Sakamoto’s past and the time when he was close with Rion and Nagumo.

5. Recap of Chapter 107
A flashback of Sakamoto’s time as a student at JCC is shown as he starts telling his story to Shin. Nagumo and Rion battle each other on a moving train while Satoda-sensei asks the other student where they all went. The students tell her that the three have been battling for nine hours while everyone else has already got shot by paintballs.
As a bridge approaches, Nagumo and Rion crashes inside the train while Sakamoto uses the train’s handrail to trap their hands. They are thrown into the air outside, and Satoda-sensei tells them to come down.
The vice principal, Yamada, tells the three that they have been expelled due to ignoring rules and damaging properties. They try to protest, but Yamada hands them an extra mission to cover up their missing credits they need to pass.
He also tells them that all the other teachers just want to expel them due to their constant troublemaking, but Satoda-sensei advocated for a special exception for them.
The mission they receive is to kill the target that they received the info of. After the three leave the staff room, another teacher talk about how the mission will be good lesson for them since no one has ever completed it. Satoda-sensei assures them that if they work together, the three can kill any enemy.
Rion suggests to play rock-paper-scissor to decide who will kill the target since there is only one. While they are talking, Uzuki, also a student at the time, bumps into Rion. He apologizes while Nagumo tells Rion not to be mean.
Uzuki looks at them with an undiscernible expression as they talk about going out to the aquarium to celebrate after the assignment is done.

“Sakamoto Days” is a comedy-action manga by Yuto Suzuki published in Weekly Shonen Jump. The author is already known for two successful one-shots, Garaku and Locker Room.
