Shueisha announced that Sakamoto Days manga will inspire a TV anime series. The anime is scheduled for a January 2025 release window.
TMS Entertainment, the production studio responsible for popular anime series like Fruits Basket and Dr. Stone, will produce the anime.
Nothing has been officially announced about the streaming platform. However, in an interview with Netflix’s Vice President Josh Simon, Sakamoto Days was included in a listing of projects among “Netflix Upcoming Releases” in 2024.
