In Episode 4, Sei’s incredible magic powers got recognized across the Salutania Kingdom so much that the King himself appeared before her to apologize for his son’s misbehavior.

Many knights and officials are suspecting that the role of saint suits Sei more. She has to go through a trial to determine if she is a saint. Can she pass this appraisal? We bring you the latest episode updates for this anime.  

1. Episode 5 Speculation

In the post-credit scene, we see that the second-order knights and many other higher-ups are suspecting Sai to the saint who will save the kingdom.

The veteran Court Mages have contacted Johan and informed him that Sei will be sent for the appraisal. Soon everyone will find out who Sei truly is.

I am sure that Sei wants to avoid this extra hassle in her peaceful life. So, there is a probability that she may purposely hold back his magic power.

Otherwise, Sei will be taken away to the royal palace and trained there for the betterment of the kingdom.

In Episode 4, Sei keeps surprising everyone with her incredible magic powers. She herself searches for the reason behind her huge magic reserve and starts doubting if she is the real saint.

The King is well aware of Sei’s overwhelming progress, but he somehow has to confirm his speculations. He visits Sei and apologizes for his son Kyle’s misbehavior, and offers her a new magic book.

Salutania-sama assures he is ready for an official apology before the people and tells her that he is looking forward to their next meet. Such a humble behavior from the King tells us that Sei has already become a very important person.

The next day, Sei subconsciously prepares way too many potions again. Johan scolds her for going so far; he fears that they will soon run out of herbs this way.

Meanwhile, the second-order knights come back from their joint operations. They thank Sei for her effective potions and magic items that saved their life.

However, the damage incurred isn’t even close to negligible. Some of them have lost their vision, some limbs, and some both. Despite the risk of revealing her true identity, she heals the entire battalion with her Heal Magic, including the minor injuries.

Johan and Captain Hawke are once again astonished to see Sei performing miracles that are way beyond human capabilities. The tales of her magic powers soon spread throughout the Kingdom.
