In the preview, Sei presents Hawke with a neck ornament as a thank you gesture for their little outing. Not only that, the ornament is enchanted with magic that will protect him in the field.

Impressed by this, Captain Hawke kneels before her and kisses her hand. They have finally started to show their romantic interest in each other.

They will grow closer to each other, and it’s just a matter of time before one of them proposes the other.

3. Episode 3 Recap

In Episode 3, Captain Hawke asks Sei out for a date, to which Sei agrees. He takes her to the beautiful streets of the capital, where they roam around holding hands.

Sei was initially shy but soon gets comfortable with the captain. After a tiring walk, Hawke treats her with dumplings and chilled beverages.

On their way back, Hawke gifts her a beautiful hairpin that kind of looks like a mini crown. She was delighted to get it; I think it’s the first time she received a present from a boy.

Later, Johan explains to Sei about Hawke’s probable romantic feeling towards her. She gets flustered and refuses to accept it in public.

Soon she finds out that her precious hair ornament is enchanted with magic. She was totally clueless about the process of enchantment, so Johan sends her to Royal Magic Academy for her magical training.

In the Academy, Sei learns to use enchantment magic and impresses everyone with one after another successful enchantment on her very first day.

Her enchantments are so precise that it even catches the attention of first-order knights who orders for more such products. Since no other mage is able to pull off such precision, Sei agrees to help them.

Sei is a 20-year-old office worker who is summoned to an isekai world as a saint.
