Sa-Chan Manga Ends, Does It Live Up to Expectations?

Dear Sa-chan manga explores the complexities of romance and personal emotions, making it enjoyable to understand the motivations behind the characters’ conduct.

Iori Asada’s Dear Sa-chan manga ended with the release of its 35th chapter. However, fans are disappointed with how this manga ended. It kept them wondering why Na-chan thinks Katagiri will actually marry her, despite the age gap.

The final chapter, titled “A new beginning,” was published on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ web manga site on October 6. On the very same day, Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service published the final chapter in English.

In the 35th chapter, we get to see how much Katagiri was suffering due to the loss of Sa-chan.

He loved her so much that he ended up writing her letters, which were never sent. He had to pay a monthly sum of money to Mr Kunikida to compensate for his past mistakes.

The manga ended with Sa-chan coming out of the mess. She is finally in a happy and healthy relationship. 

Nao is a lot like Sa-chan, both in terms of personality and looks. Nao loved Katagiri, despite the age gap, and asked him out for a date.

Katagiri got someone who resembles Sa-chan, hoping that he will find Sa-chan’s replacement within Nao and finally be happy. However, we still don’t know why Nao is obsessed with him.

Many fans are disappointed with this ending and are now hoping for a sequel, which might explain how the relationship between Katagiri and Nao turns out.

We are yet to know what would happen when Mr Kunikida finds out that Katagiri dated both his wife and his underaged daughter. However, there is no official news confirming any sequel yet.

Iori Asada’s Dear Sa-chan manga was released in July 2019. The manga follows Kyosuke Katagiri’s story, who came to Tokyo to study, leaving his girlfriend behind. They used to write letters to each other once in a while.

They have been dating each other for four years, but this long-distance relationship got much more complicated when Kyo started cheating Sa-chan with a married lady.

The manga tells us how both of them managed to come out of the mess and finally be happy.
