The story is about a badminton prodigy, Mikoto Shiratori, who never recovered from the trauma of a major loss in one of his high school competitions. He now works for a corporation and plays badminton as a hobby rather than a competitive sport.

Mikoto is joined by four other badminton players who work day jobs like him and are part of a corporate badminton team. The anime is about the highs and lows of badminton and portrays that it’s never too late to go back to your beloved sport.

It would be interesting to see a sports anime that is not based around high school students. Ryman’s Club revolves around working adults, which is a nice twist as teenage and adulthood are very different, so I’m curious to see how they portray that.

I think the anime will be heavily sentimental and hair-raising but also relatable on a different level. What do you think about this? Let us know!
