As soon as they got close enough to finally defeat the Nightmare Grimm, they were ambushed by Negative Weiss and were defeated.
In episode 7 of RWBY: Ice Queendom we will Ruby, Blake, Yang, and Jaune from team JNPR entering the dream. With Blake’s intelligence and others’ teamwork they will find the relic to enter Weiss’s heart.
Jaune will use his immunity to get close to the Nightmare Grimm to defeat it. Ruby, Blake, and Yang will face off against Negative Weiss. This last attempt will decide whether Weiss will be saved or not.

Episode 6 Recap
Episode 6 of RWBY: Ice Queendom is titled “Do You Have A Plan”. Negative Weiss ambushes her teammates. Blake distracts Weiss while the others try to locate the Nightmare. Ruby and Yang find the inside of Weiss’s heart and use the relic as the key to her heart.
They had to fight Grumpy Klein and his army to move further. Weiss was overpowering Blake, so she decided to flee away. After defeating the army, Ruby and Yang find the Grimm that needs to be defeated. They summon Blake using the coin Shion gave them.
Yang uses her last coin to ask Shion for her guidance, but Negative Weiss again ambushes them, and she destroys the telephone.
Fighting Weiss was difficult for the three of them, the relic was broken mid-fight before Ruby could grab it. All three of them were overpowered by Weiss, and Ruby had to use the coin to escape from the dream.
Shion informs them that all of the marks have been destroyed, and they now have one final chance to save Weiss or else she will die.
After talking with the team JNPR, Penny, and Sun all three of them get a different perspective on the dream. With this new positive approach, they devise a plan for entering Weiss’s dream.
After discussing their plans with Shion, they discovered that a dream could be altered to some extent if the host sees it as a positive development.
Jaune from team JNPR will come along with Ruby, Blake, and Yang. He has developed immunity from the Nightmare Grimm.
They are advised to find the identical relic in this new dream.
