Episode 5 Recap   

Episode 5 of RWBY: Ice Queendom continues with the fight between Ruby and Weiss. Shion pulls Ruby out of Weiss’ dream after he loses to Weiss.

Ruby describes the details of her dream to her comrades. They differentiate between the real Weiss and the one in the dream as positive and negative Weiss.

Blake and Yang insist on assisting her, and team JNPR also offers assistance. This time, we get to see the entire ceremony Shion has to go through in order to engage Weiss’s squad to find the Grimm in her dream.

They appear in her dream. Yang becomes very powerful in Weiss’s dream and obtains a motorcycle, whilst Blake only has one of her ears sticking up. They all comfortably infiltrate the city and start searching for an entrance.

Weiss is again shown to be worried about the girl in black. Blake discovers the entrance and summons the others while Ruby listens to Pyrrha’s wonderful singing. They are noticed as they pass through the entrance.

Weiss is seen to be particularly concerned about upholding the honor of her family name. Ruby and Yang freely surrender to be used as a decoy, knowing they can escape using their abilities. They discover all of Weiss’s favorite items, including a relic, in the room where they are imprisoned.

Yang must remain in the room while the others look for the Grimm. Weiss shows up in from of them when they were looking for Grimm. Weiss believes that there is no place for Fauna in her world.
