The good news is that there will be two cours, so as 2024 draws to a close and 2025 gets underway, you’ll have plenty more Rorouni Kenshin action to look forward to. The roughly 45-second promotional video focuses primarily on central characters Kaoru Kamiya and Kenshin Himura, as well as several others who’ll appear in the season.

The second season is the continuation of the 2023 readaptation of author and illustrator Nobuhiro Watsuki’s original manga series of the same name, which was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from April 1994 to September 1999. In fact, Rurouni Kenshin season 2 is more than just a continuation, it’s a return to the roots of the original manga series.
