Episode 12 of Rumble Garanndoll starts with the Garann taking on a red Zaburn form, making Yamada worry that there might be an overload. Fearing history would repeat itself, Yamada ordered the ejection of the battery girls, but no one carried them out.

In a sudden emotional energy surge, Hosomichi tells the battery girls that he loves all three of them, and one of them is a child. It’s just a not so self-aware harem anime now.

Here are the latest updates.

Episode 13 Speculations

It is revealed that Mimi fell in love with Yamada when she was a battery girl, and we’re not surprised. Something fishy had been going on between them since the start. It was also Yamada’s shyness that created a whole lake in the city.

The Garann has transformed into a red ultra shark-one model called “Shark: The Burn.” Captain Yamada is afraid that such a power overload might cause another Asakusabashi incident.

Hayate is hell-bent on ending it once and for all, but Rin believes she can still bring her around by talking to her.

Rin is exhausted, so Hosomichi has to switch to Yuki, who uses drones to kick the shaman girl around like a rag doll. After that, Misa shows off her skills and showers bullets on Musashi’s Garann.

They quickly deplete their energy, and Rin is called for help again. Yamada forbids it, suspecting the ten-year-old disaster would repeat itself, which he thought was caused by mixing love with the business. Mimi tells him that it was because his heart was too small to accept her love.

Akatsuki fights Hosomichi, and he quickly loses control, and as they feel like they’re down in the dumps, Yamada cheers them on. This new surge in energy pushes Hosomichi to confess that he loves the battery girls.

In the end, the exhibition center/ bomb fell into the lake, and no one was hurt. Yamada talks to Akatsuki with the promise of helping him preach ideas of peace and tolerance in his land.

About Rumble Garanndoll

Rumble Garanndoll is an upcoming original Japanese anime television series animated by Studio Lerche.

The story begins in 2019, just before the change in historical eras for Japan. A rift to another dimension suddenly opens in the skies above, revealing a “turnabout” alternate world called “Shinkoku Nippon.” This parallel version of Japan maintained its militarism and remains stuck in the Showa era. Shinkoku Nippon invades Japan with its “Genmu” gas weapons and giant humanoid “Garan” weapons. The invaders immediately take over our government and all but conquer Japan.

A decade later, our Japan has been revamped as Genkoku Nippon, a puppet state of Shinkoku Nippon. Under harsh censorship, the once-thriving manga, anime, idol, and similar sub-cultures have completely died off … or so it seemed. A secret society named Arahabaki rises up to resist Shinkoku with Garanndoll weapons powered by “battery girls.”
