Romance Guide – Trials of Mana | Are there Romance options in the Game?

Romance is slowly becoming a norm in the RPG genre of video games because most gamers these days prefer to have a combination of an action-adventure RPG and dating sim blend into one single title.

Trials of Mana is the latest RPG in the Mana series in which the players control three different characters and fight off hostile creatures. With many characters to play and interact with the possibility of romance options doesn’t seem that far but does the game offer it?

1. Are there romance options in Trials of Mana?

There is no traditional romance feature in Trials of Mana. However, the game does focus on personal growth and friendship among the characters. Characters do engage over the course of the journey and build strong bonds but there is no romance at the current moment in the game.

Still, there are some minor hints towards brewing romance between some characters in the game. For instance, after Angela joins the party, you may notice some flirting between her and Duran if they are in the same party or during some cutscene.

However, that’s all there is to it. There are no exclusive options to build up over these things.

2. Will romance be added to Trials of Mana?

There will not be any romance option in Trials of Mana in the future as well. There has been no official announcement regarding the developers adding the same to the game.

Therefore, unfortunately, the slight glimpses of one-sided flirting by Angela aimed toward Duran are all that the players will get to see regarding the romantic bits in the game.

There will be no RPG-like dialogue paths to create your own romantic scenarios/stories with the characters of your liking.
