Rolling Sparks Ash of War Location – Best for Perfume Bottles in Elden Ring DLC

Ashes of War are special items in the Elden Ring that allow players to modify any weapon’s skill and simultaneously change its affinity.

The Shadow of Erdtree introduces many new Ashes of War like the Rolling Sparks to the game. This one is particularly exclusive to the new Perfume Bottle weapon class.

1. How to get the Rolling Sparks Ash of War in the Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree?

The Rolling Spark ash of war is inside a floating orb on an elevated terrain north of the Highroad Cross site of grace and south of Shadow Keep Main Gate site of grace in Scadu Altus region.

Starting from the High Road site of grace, all you need to do is head north on the designated path. After a few seconds of ride, you will come across another road joining with the main path from the right-hand side.

Keep riding toward the north and avoid the giant Furnace Golem blocking your path. Find your way uphill to the elevated terrain on the right once you reach the large campsite. At the very top, you will find a metallic orb floating in the air.

Attack the orb using a ranged weapon or a throwable. Reduce its health bar to zero and you will receive the Rolling Sparks Ash of War.

2. How to use Rolling Sparks Ash of War in Shadow of Erdtree?

Rolling Sparks Ash of War can be used with Perfume Bottle weapons to deal explosive elemental AoE attacks that travel in a short linear path.

The kind of elemental damage the Rolling Sparks will replicate depends on the element of the Perfume Bottle. The Firespark Perfume Bottle will have a fiery effect while the Chilling Perfume Bottle will cause a freezing effect and AoE damage, and so on.
