With the dead now back to life, the gang assembles to brainstorm ideas on how to take down Percival. They realize they don’t have enough information on his origins and what his end goal is and decide to dig deeper. Cheryl invites Betty to Thornhill to reunite her with Polly but begs her to keep it a secret.
Meanwhile, Jughead tells Tabitha about his strange encounters in the bunker and that he suspects he unknowingly opened up a portal. He believes that there’s a connection between their powers, the explosion at Archie’s house, and Percival’s arrival. The two of them decide to go to the other dimension to look for answers.
They arrive in an alternate universe called ‘Rivervale.’ Rivervale Jughead tells them that their universes were conjoined and feeding off one another. It was the explosion that separated them. In an exclusive interview with Alice, Percival reveals that he was one of the original settlers of Rivervale and made a pact with the devil.
