A series of ominous events start taking place in Riverdale. Sensing the common theme of these events, Betty starts researching the biblical apocalypse to gauge what Percival’s next move would be. As the gang’s focus shifts to Toni’s wedding, Cheryl takes it upon herself to kill Percival. However, her plan backfires and her spell is diverted by Percival onto her own grandmother. Riverdale Season 6 Episode 18 Recap
A series of small-scale ominous events start taking place at Riverdale. The gang is happy to shift their focus to something positive for once—Fang and Toni’s wedding. Jughead starts to get a hold of how to manage the excess voices in his head. However, he’s still not ready to rejoin society. Kevin withdraws the custody battle case.
The ominous events start to escalate, starting with Riverdale’s water supply turning blood red overnight. Archie gets the gang together to discuss this after Percival calls him up with another threat and menacingly implies he was the one to turn the Sweetwater river red. Meanwhile, Jughead has a strange encounter of his own, after the story he wrote on La Llorona goes missing from the bunker.
Cheryl takes it upon herself to kill Percival, despite the rest of the gang’s hesitations towards this approach. However, Percival manages to dodge her spell and deflects it onto Chery’s grandmother instead. A horrified Cheryl finds her Nana engulfed in flames and calls an emergency meeting with the gang to tell them that Percival’s powers extend beyond what they know.
