With the arrival of The Rising of the Shield Hero season 2 in April 2022, Naofumi is now prepared to go beyond boundaries to protect the people he holds dear.
The only thing that clashes with his plans is an ancient scary beast spirit which is portrayed in the promotional video.
The Rising of the Shield Hero 2 second PV gives a preview to the opening theme song, titled “Bring Back” along with the new cast. Check out the latest visual before heading to the PV!
Naofumi and his companions are seen to be making their way to the “Spirit Tortoise Kingdom” in the latest visual. The mysterious and mystical kingdom is where the next adventure lies for our favorite Shield Hero.
The English-subtitled video premieres an opening song, “Bring Back” by MADKID. The song is created solely focused on Naofumi and his friends, while inheriting the genealogy of “RISE and FAITH.”
MADKID was the one who sang the opening theme song for the first season of “The Rising of the Shield Hero.”
Along with the opening theme song, the ending theme song titled and singer has been revealed on the official website.
The ending theme song for the second season will be “Yuzuranai” by Chiai Fujikawa. She created the song that will help Naofumi’s party through the special bond they have for each other.
Kana Hanazawa will be the cast for the new character “Ost = Horai,” which was unveiled for the first time in the second PV. Ost-Horai is a concubine of the King of the Spirit Turtles
A melodious opening theme and an amazing PV remind me of the adventures Naofumi and party had to go through to fight the waves. I’m excited to see what this ancient beast spirit is all about and what kind of threat it holds for Naofumi’s party.
