With just a few weeks left until its return, a new trailer for Rick and Morty season 6 part 2 has arrived. The short trailer introduced several new interdimensional characters and marked the return of Dr. Wong.
The animated adult comedy follows a mad scientist, Rick Sanchez, and his grandson, Morty Smith, as they embark on crazy adventures in the multiverse. The show has received immense critical acclaim for its dark humor and interesting take on nihilism and existentialism.
In Rick and Morty season 6, part 1, Rick, Morty, and their family struggle with the aftermath of the events of the season 5 finale. In the previous season, Evil Morty destroys the Central Finite Curve. As a result, all Ricks in the multiverse lose their ability to travel through the multiverse using their portal guns.
Adult Swim has finally released the first trailer for the second part of season 6. The clip teases the return of Rick Sanchez with his portal gun in the multiverse. Check out the trailer below –
The 45-second clip teases a series of continued bizarre adventures for the titular duo as “We’re Not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister plays in the background. The trailer also reveals the return of Dr. Wong (Susan Sarandon), the family therapist.
Rick pays a surprise visit to his therapist, hoping for some serious conversation. We also see an interdimensional creature in Wong’s office who may or may not be dead. Wong asks Rick if the beast is dead, and Rick replies he is fine.

The first part of Rick and Morty season 6 featured a variety of unique storylines. Rick and Jerry find a terrifying fortune cookie secret, while Earth Beth and Space Beth fall in love with each other. One of the bigger storylines of this season is that of Rick Prime going on a quest to hunt down his C-137 variant.
The two share a dark past, where Rick Prime killed the latter’s Beth and Diane. It was teased much earlier in the season 3 premiere. The season 6 premiere finally confirmed the backstory.
The season 6 finale ended with Rick teasing that their multiverse adventures could continue even after Evil Morty’s ploy to stop them. The part 2 trailer confirms the same.
Rick and Morty season 6, part 2, will premiere on November 20 on Adult Swim.
