It’s season six and Rick and Morty are back! Pick up where we left them, worse for wear and down on their luck. Will they manage to bounce back for more adventures? Or will they get swept up in an ocean of piss! Who knows?! Piss! Family! Intrigue! A bunch of dinosaurs! More piss! Another can’t miss season of your favorite show.
This was the press release for season 6 of Rick and Morty, and it has turned out to be exactly how I expected it to be!
Just finished watching JuRicksic Mort on Netflix and realized that the ‘Next Episode’ button wouldn’t work for another month. Yes, you guessed it right. A mid-season hiatus. Sigh!
One good news, though. In JuRicksic Mort, Rick finally gets his portal gun fixed using some super-advanced dinosaur technology, and the burps are back (Yay!).
1. Synopsis/Speculation
Fortunately, Adult Swim has dropped a promo of Episode 7 so that the audience have something to work with! I watched it. And… it was a weird promo!
So, I am going to put my Cognition Helmet on and try to analyze the promo and predict what will happen when we get to see our favorite old man and his sidekick after the break!
The promo is all about clips from the previous episodes of season 6.
Let’s start with the end of the promo. Rick says, ‘Repeat after me Morty, next time on Rick and Morty…”
Are they going to break the fourth wall? Could it be one of the episodes like She-Hulk: Attorney at Law where the protagonist seldom talks to the audience? Maybe Rick has found out that he is just a simulation and is playing along. Will he be talking directly to the audience at some point?
The promo was a recap of clips from all the past episodes, and I believe that something related to time travel will surely happen in episode 7. Or will an old villain surface again?
One clip from the promo showed Night Summer taking control of the machines. The revengeful alter-ego of Summer has already caused Rick immense trouble in the previous episodes. Will she surface again and wreak havoc?
Previously, Rick didn’t have his portal gun in proper shape. But it is fixed now. Will that expand the cat-and-mouse chase to intergalactic proportions?
If that happens then the Council of Ricks may get involved as well. An army of Night Summers from different galaxies clashing with all the Ricks from his Council! What a climax!
Also, the dinosaurs aren’t dead, and we saw them skateboarding in an unknown planet in the post-credits of the last episode. I don’t see them making a comeback in the next episode itself, but they will most likely make a comeback sometime in the future.
Also, Summer is pregnant. And we don’t know how.

Chapter 7 of the Rick and Morty Season 6 series has been released on Sunday, Nov 20, 2022. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.

If your portal gun wasn’t broken like Rick’s, and you missed the last week’s episode because of your travels, then you are in the right place for a quick refresher!
In episode 6, Earth was invaded by hyper-intelligent dinosaurs trying to spread peace and love throughout the world.
They took over the UN and became very disappointed to see how humans treated the world and cared only about making more and more Marvel movies.
The dinosaurs (hilariously extra polite during the fiasco) took over the Earth and created a utopia (or so we thought).
They erased capitalism, destroyed the concept of money, and made everything flourish.
Astonishingly, the humans started feeling unsettled at being dominated and losing their identity.
Only two of Morty’s household members remained sane, Rick (sane? Lol) and Jerry. They had found their way of embracing uselessness. While Rick’s nihilism peaked, Jerry found a way to accept his mediocrity.
The President, too, became sick and tired of being the recessive species and asked Rick to drive them away in exchange for giving him a chance to host the Oscars.
Rick soon figured out the problem. The universe was balancing the existence of hyper-intelligent dinosaurs by creating a species of hyper-dumb rocks that exist to destroy them.
Rick came back to Earth and explained his observations to them. Ultimately, the dinosaurs decided to leave Earth in the flawed hands of humans.
