Re:Zero season 3 is finally back from its hiatus, and the latest episode offers a ton of fights that has every fan excited. The previous episode ended with everyone at the city hall making their plans on how they’d split their forces to beat the threat of the Witches’ cult. Episode 9 of Re:Zero season 3 follows up on their plan and features everyone dealing with their own opponent from the Witches’ cult.

1. Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 10 Release Date
Episode 10 of Re:Zero will be released on Wednesday, the 12th of February 2025. It can be streamed through its official sources like Crunchyroll.

2. Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 9 Recap
Episode 9 of Re: Zero season 3 started with Otto running around the city to get his hands on the Book of Wisdom. On his way, he came across Felt and her group, who were facing the Archbishop of Gluttony, Lye Batenkaitos. Since Otto knew that Gluttony should’ve been at another place, he realized that there were multiple Archbishops of Gluttony, this theory was also confirmed by Gluttony. He revealed that he wanted to get his hands on Subaru for reasons unknown. Otto told him that he knew Subaru’s whereabouts and was willing to take him there in exchange for sparing his life.
This was obviously Otto’s ploy to stop this archbishop from running their plans. However, the bait wasn’t bitten, and they still had to cross swords anyway. Meanwhile, Garfiel and Wilhelm were facing the two cloaked figures: Eight-Arms Kurgan and Theresia van Astrea. Both Wilhelm and Garfiel steeled their resolve and dashed into the battle, in between which both opponents removed their cloaks to reveal themselves. The scene then switched to Priscilla and the bard Liliana, who were stationed to have their own battle at District 4 against the Archbishop of Wrath, who did make her appearance, but their battle couldn’t commence due to lack of screentime.
After this, we finally got to see the much-anticipated interaction between Subaru and Regulus Corneas, who was still really displeased with everything happening around him. When Reinhard tried to attack him, he threatened to kill all his wives, which had Subaru in a sticky situation. When Emilia tried to stop his movement by freezing him, he easily broke through her ice and used her as a hostage. He then asked Reinhard to disarm himself and receive one of his attacks, after which he would forgive their transgressions.
Reinhard did just that, and he died to Regulu’s slash, which had Subaru really enraged for a moment. However, just moments later, Reinhard revived thanks to The Phoenix’s Divine Blessing. He then sent Regulus flying away with his attack. This was definitely not enough to kill Regulus, as the series has made it clear that Rugulus has some kind of ability that keeps him immortal. Reinhard and Subaru decided to stall Regulus with Reinhard’s attacks until Subaru realized the trick behind Regulus’ immortality.
Meanwhile, the fight at District 1 was progressing in the worst possible way, as Garfiel was getting completely overwhelmed by Eight-Arms Kurgan. When Garfiel got distracted for a moment, he got smashed by one of his opponent’s attacks, and before giving the viewers a chance to confirm his well-being, the scene switched to the room in the city hall where Felix was looking after Crusch. The episode ended with the shocking reveal of the Archbishop of Lust, who had mysteriously managed to reach the city hall amidst her fight at District 1.
3. What To Expect In Episode 10 of Re: Zero Season 3?
Episode 9 of Re: Zero was really chaotic, for good reason, too, as the viewers needed to know everyone’s roles in the resistance force. We can expect episode 10 of Re: Zero to be more focused on fights in particular places. It was shocking to see The Archbishop of Lust enter the City hall, especially since she was spotted in District 1, where Garfiel and Wilhelm were fighting. Since The Archbishop of Gluttony has multiple bodies, this Archbishop could be something similar as well.
The latest episode has also left us with many other mysteries, like the truth behind Reglus Corneas’ immortality, Garfiel’s status underneath the debris, and Gluttony’s multiple identities. We can expect the subsequent episodes to tackle all of these while everyone slowly secures their victory against the Witches’ Cult.

Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is a Japanese light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka.
The plot is based on Subaru Natsuki, the protagonist who gets sucked into a fantasy world on his way home from the convenience store. He gets attacked by a group of thugs and is beaten to a pulp immediately, but this girl from the fantasy world named Satella saves him.
