The upcoming original anime, Reversal World’s Battery Girl, proposes a plot where Japan attacks Japan!
Yes, I see the questioning look in your eyes as you mull over the possibilities. However, it’s not a civil war that is described, as a Japan from another era is going to attack modern-day Japan!
So what happens when the Showa era Japan never progresses from militarism? As a rift to a parallel world opens, modern era Japan realizes that it is not prepared for an attack from the past!
Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo or Reversal World’s Battery Girl is the upcoming original anime by studio Lerche. The series is set for an October 2021 premiere.
A brand new trailer has been released for the upcoming anime.
It is a trailer with distinct music that suits a military or action-based anime. Of course, the series will sport quite a lot of military action too.
In fact, the Showa era military has developed so much that modern Japan doesn’t stand a chance against them. Attacking with weapons called “Genmu” and “Garan” is their favorite way of domineering over others.
A new visual has also been revealed sporting a destroyed Japan in the background with the main characters in the front.
The visual highlights the heavy-handed military reign even more as the real Japan is renamed Genkoku Nippon.
The main characters have also been introduced along with their cast members. A host club member, an underground idol, and two otakus make up a ragtag team of heroes who need to set things right!
