Revenger Episode 10: Release Date, Speculation, Discussion, Watch Online

The Revengers save Liu in episode 8 of Revengers, titled “Mutual Understanding”. After realizing that Chinatown is after the same thing, Raizo carries Liu to Teppa’s clinic. They learn how the English used opium from India to open up trade routes with Qing. The commissioner ordered Liu to eradicate the opium hidden by English merchants, which Matsumine took, and, eventually, someone else after his death. 

Liu convinces Raizo to take him back to Chinatown but finds the other revengers, under Shishido, already killed his men. Shishido plants the attack on Usui’s group and The Chapel disavows them. He takes Sada, the priest, to his storehouse, revealing the hidden opium and his intention to turn Nagasaki into a hub for opium trading.

Episode 10 Speculation

Episode 10 is titled “Nowhere to Run”. The culprit behind the spread of opium in Nagasaki is revealed. Shishido is the head of the Nagasaki Trade Union, and considering that the Chapel is also working for them, Usui and the revengers will have a very difficult time dealing with the situation. 

Usui will soon head off to the Chapel, which is a bad idea since the Chapel is against them. Now that the revengers don’t have the Chapel to fall back on, they will face themselves surrounded by enemies. Isarizawa may help them since he was the one who cracked down on the opium trade earlier, but it won’t be easy. The story is at its climax and the next episode is higly awaited.

No, episode 10 of Revenger is not on a break this week. No delay has been announced, and the episode will be released on the above-stated date.  

Recap of Episode 9

Raizo takes Liu after he is hit by the bullet. Soji helps him with the other Revengers and they soon retreat after seeing Usui’s group. Raizo carries Liu to Teppa’s clinic to save him, as he realizes that Chinatown also wants to eradicate the opium floating around Nagasaki. 

Liu remembers how he was given orders by Commissioner Lin to destroy the opium but found his sister also succumbed to it. After patching Liu up, Teppa, Soji, and Nio read about how the English used opium grown in India to trade with Qing. The opium spread like wildfire and led to exploitation which is why the emperor appointed Commissioner Lin to eradicate it. 

Liu wakes up and questions the Revengers’ intentions for helping him. Usui and Raizo tell him they have the same goal and should join forces. Liu tells them that the English hid the opium in the ports, which was taken by Matsumine. After Raizo killed Matsumine, it fell into someone else’s hands. 

Soji worries about the mess they have on their hands now that they have betrayed the Chapel. Teppa and Usui come to the conclusion that The Chapel must be working for whoever took the opium. Usui tells him that he will head to the Chapel on Sabbath and he should take over if he fails to return. 

Liu wakes up and tries to leave despite Raizo’s protest. He convinces Raizo to take him to Chinatown so that he can warn his people. However, by the time they reached, Sada the priest, and his group had already killed his men and bombed the port. Raizo rests Liu and goes to check out the situation. 

Liu is attacked by a timid attacker who can barely fend him off before Raizo arrives and scares him off. After hearing about the destruction of his men, an injured Liu is barely able to stay conscious. He entrusts his vendetta into a gold coin for Raizo and the revengers. 

Meanwhile, Shishido, Sada, and the Chapel nun discuss the situation. The Chapel washes their hands off Usui’s group, and the nun denies involvement. Shishido frames them for assaulting Chinatown and puts all the blame on them. 

Shishido takes Sada to his storehouse, revealing an absurd number of crates with Matsumine’s opium. Sada suggests selling it to Qing after threatening them, but Shishido tells him of his plan to make Nagasaki a hub for opium trading.
