Restaurant To Another World won the hearts of many with its earnest tale of an isekai restaurant that changes the lives of its patrons. After an engaging first season, the anime is coming back with its season 2.
In the last season, we saw how this anime brings people of different worlds together through gastronomical brilliance. The comforting restaurant owner, and cute staff, and regulars added to its genius.
While the series doesn’t have a central storyline, it has a consistent theme: to serve good food and make the customers crave more.

1. Release Date
Restaurant To Another World season 2 anime is scheduled to release on October 1, 2021. It will be streamed on Crunchyroll once it’s released.

2. Key Visual
The key visual shows the restaurant owner and his employees. We see Aletta with the menu in one hand while welcoming the viewers inside the restaurant.
It also shows Kuro holding on to the special dish, omurice, ready to serve the customer. At the same time, we see the owner far off at the center, content with his restaurant.
The above visual shows a customer looking at the chalkboard displaying the menu for the day. From the looks of it, it is the front door to the restaurant on a typical day.
The visual features three recurring characters, Artorius, Tatsugorou, and Lionel, from the previous season. They are seen talking and enjoying servings of their favorite foods with some drinks.

Three regular patrons of the mysterious restaurant have gathered, but they are from different worlds. Starting from the right, we have Princess Adelheid having a lively conversation with sorceress Ranner and her half-brother Prince Shareef.
3. Trailer
The trailer starts with the mysterious western restaurant, Nekoya, open for the day. It shows the daily life the owner and his employees go through to bring smiles to the faces of their customers.
The trailer also portrays different creatures and people having a nice meal and relieving their stress.
The PV above depicts a Saturday at Nekoya as the staff show their dedication to the restaurant. It also gives us a preview of the opening and ending themes of the upcoming season.
4. Plot/Storyline
Restaurant to Another World season 2 will likely follow the story from the last season. Although the anime does not follow any linear plot, the portal to another world will keep opening on Saturdays.
It is the most amazing feature of the restaurant that allows all manner of unearthly creatures to sit down for a nice meal.
Elves, dragons, or anyone who wants to sample our world’s cuisine is welcome to partake before returning to their world, sated and ready for their next quest.
Hilda, a young demon mercenary known for her excellent night vision and scary ability to accurately detect even the quietest sounds, will set foot at the Western Cuisine Nekoya for the first time in the upcoming season.

I. Hilda
Hilda is a demon mercenary based in the imperial capital. Her excellent night vision and ability to accurately discern even the slightest sounds have earned her the nickname “Night Strider.”
6. Theme Songs For Restaurant To Another World Season 2
The theme songs for the series have been decided. The opening theme song titled “Onnaji Kimochi,” meaning “The Same Feeling,” is performed by Kiyono Yasuno.
Kiyono Yasuno is also returning to play Sarah, the young treasure hunter who took in Aletta as a live-in maid in the last season. The new single will debut on October 20, 2021.
The ending theme is titled “Samenai Mahō,” meaning “Warmed-Over Magic,” is performed by Nao Toyama. She is also voicing the new character, Hilda. The new single will go on sale on November 3, 2021.

One of the most significant changes in the staff for the upcoming season 2 is altering the production company. Studio OLM is replacing Silver Link to animate the second season of Restaurant to Another World.
Yasukazu Shoji is the new character designer on the project, replacing Keiichi Sano and Takao Sano.
9. Conclusion
The restaurant in the series acts as a no man’s land for anyone from any world to come and feast upon the most delicious foods. Seeing the blissful expressions of the customers and how the restaurant changes the lives of its customers is breathtaking.
I’m curious to know what kind of impact Nekoya will have on the new character, Hilda. Will she become a patron of the mysterious restaurant? With a new studio and character designer, will season 2 exceed our expectations, or will it be a letdown?

An anime television series adaptation by Silver Link aired from July 3 to September 18, 2017. A second season by OLM has been announced.
The Western Restaurant Nekoya is a restaurant situated in a mundane corner of an undisclosed Tokyo shopping district which offers a lot of Japanese versions of Western dishes.
It opens during usual business hours though closed during holidays and weekends. But secretly it is also open on Saturdays, as on this particular day it creates doorways to another world.
