Resident Evil Village is choke-full of collectibles and challenges. Hidden Files, special treasures, and quirky challenges are all hidden throughout the survival horror game.
One such is the ‘When You Gotta Go’ trophy challenge, and it is going to send you out looking for toilets out of all things imaginable. Follow this guide to find out all the Outhouses in Resident Evil Village so you can complete the ‘When You Gotta Go’ challenge.
Every Outhouse Location In Resident Evil 8 Village
There are a total of 10 Outhouse in Resident Evil VIllage, which you can discover and open while playing the storyline.
Outhouse #1
Location – West Old Town
Located on the side of the very first house you explore in the Village. Next to the barn and well.
Outhouse #2
Location – East Old Town
Find this Outhouse next to the Iron Insignia Gate, down the main road from the big house (where you meet the first survivor.) This one is easy to miss, so be careful.
Outhouse #3
Location – Luiza’s House
The second Outhouse is located just outside Luiza’s front door. The Outhouse also contains some chem fluid.
Outhouse #4
Location – Craftsman’s Hut
Just after fighting with Lady Dimitrescu, you will emerge into a clearing to a save point in a shack. Find an Outhouse in the backyard.
Even if you miss this on your first go, you can return using the boat at the drawbridge after you get the crank.
Outhouse #5
Location – Central Village
Found at the back of the large house that you enter after completing Castle Dimitrescu. You need to exit through the back door to skip the locked gate. The building you need to enter is the East of the Maiden of War statue. You’ll find Wooden Animal (Body) treasure and Leonardo’s Message file in the building and some rusted scraps in the Outhouse.
Outhouse #6
Location – Central Village
Just from the last house, find the next Outhouse in an alley behind a livestock pen. After going through the hole in the stable wall, it is on your right behind a Lycan. You’ll only find a corpse inside.
Outhouse #7
Location – Luthier’s House
In the front yard of Luthier’s Home, find your next Outhouse. It will be across the house where you met your first survivor. The house will be locked, but you can shoot the padlock.
Outhouse #8
Location – House with Red Chimney
Find this Outhouse near the ladder on the wall of the house with the red chimney. You’ll find a large crystal inside.
Outhouse #9
Location – Gardener’s House
After you complete House Beneviento, enter the house on the Northside of the Garden area to get Luther’s Key. The Outhouse is nearby, and you’ll also find the ‘Photo of a Strange Bird’ item.
Outhouse #10
Location – Reservoir
The last Outhouse is just down a path from the Reservoir gatehouse (which powers the sluice gate). Exit near the Duke and go right down a short path. You will find some chem fluid inside.
