Episode 9 Recap
This episode starts with Richard concerned about his feelings for Henry, which could bring trouble to him.
Catesby, following a path, finds Henry and tries to attack him, but Richard stops him. Surprised by Richard, Catesby finds Henry is his friend who saved him.
Henry gets upset that Richard has to leave, but Richard promises to meet after the war is over. Richard then thinks of a plan to make George get back to the House of York.
Meanwhile, George hears of a tale about a ghost wandering around before going to the banquet.
Warwick gets crowned king in the banquet, which makes George question choosing sides. With George getting drunk with all his thoughts, he encounters his father’s ghost that tells him to be the Yorkist and leaves a York flag behind.
The scenes then show Richard and Catesby satisfied with the stunt they pulled on George.
Afterward, Margaret approaches with a fleet of soldiers to fight against Edward of York. Warwick knows Edward will not have the resources to win since he has more troops.
Later, George submits to Edward and claims him to be the king, making Edward happy that his brother is back. Richard gets concerned for Henry since they’re after the Lancaster King to get revenge.
While the troops storm the castle, he tries to find Henry but realizes he’s missing.
With Edward reunited with Elizabeth, she shows him his newborn son, the next heir.
Buckingham wonders if Richard considered claiming the throne but realizes he has changed. Meanwhile, Warwick finds the unexpected events unacceptable and assures Edward will die by his hands.
