Episode 4 of Rent-A-Girlfriend season 2 is titled ‘Night and Girlfriend,’ After Mami asked Kazuya if he knew Chizuru was a rental girlfriend, he confirmed that he did. His relationship with Chizuru is not only acknowledged but even lied about.
It is not clear to Mami that he is being honest with her. Ruka ended up spending the entire night with Kazuya after visiting him at his apartment that same night.

Episode 5 Speculation
Ruka spent the night at Kazuya’s apartment by the end of episode 4 of Rent-A-Girlfriend season 2. Her intention was to make sure Chizuru was aware of this since she was afraid she would become jealous and assume Kazuya and Ruka were involved.
As she screamed outside Kazuya’s door, Chizuru sat behind the door and tried to process everything she had heard. There will be a negative impact on Kazuya and Chizuru’s relationship as a result of this event. Chizuru’s reaction will be interesting to watch.

Episode 4 Recap
When Mami finally confronts Chizuru and Kazuya about their relationship after keeping an eye on them for some time, he discovers the true nature of their relationship. He agrees to spend some time with her.
She asks Kazuya if he is aware of Chizuru’s status as a rental girlfriend when the ex-lovers sit together to talk. In spite of his momentary panic, Kazuya manages to calm himself down and keep his emotions in check.
His first reaction when he learned about her profession was to be shocked; he tells Mami.
When Mami asks whether she is responsible for his dating decisions, Kazuya is taken aback. He fears that Mami will explode with anger at any moment.
He avoids telling the truth entirely because he knows the consequences. Even so, Kazuya apologizes for introducing Chizuru to everyone since her relationship with him is not serious, and she is a rental girlfriend. Kazuya is asked to get a girlfriend by Mami before leaving.
She concludes that he is not playing around with Chizuru once she is alone and calls him a liar. When she sees him in the hallway, she decides to approach Kibe for some reason.
She tells Kazuya that she will meet him at his apartment later that evening. Despite Kazuya’s red face and his attempt to act normal, Ruka buys everything she needs to cook her boyfriend a tasty curry.
Ruka tells him to relax while she cooks when they reach Kazuya’s apartment. The duo eats curry together because Kazuya loves it. During their time together, they watch films and enjoy each other’s company.
Ruka can barely contain his excitement when he realizes what it really means to date, someone. Kazuya, however, becomes suspicious when she conceals her phone when she receives a text message. He is stunned to see what she says to her friend when he catches a glimpse of it.
According to Ruka, Kazuya’s house is where she will spend the night. Kazuya does not want Ruka to stay, even though she feels there is nothing wrong with it.
Since it is raining heavily outside, Ruka cannot travel home, a situation that is only expected to worsen in the coming hours.
Kazuya feels uncomfortable about Ruka staying, so he must stay. As Kazuya watches her take a shower, he cannot keep his emotions in check because he believes spending the entire night with her might result in something unexpected.
Kazuya’s long t-shirt is the first thing Ruka wears after coming out of the bathroom. Kazuya asks Ruka to find something from his clothes when he notices that she’s not wearing pants, but she ignores him entirely.
During this time, Kazuya feels sexual tension, so he takes a shower and even masturbates in the hope that it will keep him in control. A few minutes later, he returns to the hall and discovers condoms dripping from Ruka’s bag.
Ruka explains that she brought them with her to prepare for an unforeseen circumstance. Now Kazuya is afraid that he won’t be able to control himself for long, so he sits Ruka down on the floor and goes to sleep in a sleeping bag. Ruka hugs him from behind while he’s trying to sleep.
Kazuya finally reveals the truth to Ruka at this point. The man confesses to being attracted to her. In spite of this, he doesn’t want to begin a physical relationship with her at this time because he doesn’t feel emotionally connected to her.
Without saying anything, she goes back to her blankets after listening to what he has to say. Kazuya and Ruka have a brief conversation the following morning. Chizuru learns that they spent the night together when Ruka goes outside Kazuya’s apartment to say goodbye to him.
She deliberately shouts everything she has to say to let him know. After that, Kazuya apparently goes back to his apartment, as Chizuru is probably sleeping.
When Ruka said everything, Chizuru was right next to her door, trying to process what she had just heard. As Chizuru and Kazuya’s relationship develops, it remains to be seen how this incident will impact the dynamics.
