Episode 1 of Rent-A-Girlfriend season 2 is called ‘Dream and Girlfriend’ and it features Kazuya Kinoshita trying his hardest not to tell his grandmother about Chizuru Ichinose quitting as a rental girlfriend.
He later visits the theatre where Chizuru is going to take part in a play. There is a chance she will get a future acting opportunity if she performs well in front of an influential director.

Episode 2 Speculations
Episode 2 of Rent a Girlfriend season 2 is titled “The Usual Girlfriend”. Hopefully, episode 2 will feature Chizuru and Kazuya having a date again after a long time.
Kazuya’s decision was inspired by Chizuru’s dedication, not just her emotional attachment. Therefore, Chizuru hasn’t stopped being a rental girlfriend, and it appears that Kazuya will hire her more frequently in the future.
Shiori is talking to the famous director who has come to look for people for her next project when Chizuru starts packing her bags after the play, hoping to get home as soon as possible.

Episode 1 Recap
In episode 1 of Rent a Girlfriend season 2, as Kazuya awakes in his apartment, he realizes that his time as Chizuru’s boyfriend is almost over. In the months since they got to know each other, he can’t help but remember how helpful she has been.
However, Chizuru knows that his grandmother’s affection for her will present a serious problem because he must explain why they are not together.
Rather than working as a rental girlfriend, Chizuru intends to focus on her career as an actor. It is great for her future that this decision has been made, Kazuya is also frustrated that she cannot spend time with her boyfriend, Chizuru.
Though he picks up the phone to tell his grandmother the bad news, Kazuya decides to wait until after she has quit the job fully to tell grandmother the bad news.
In their last meeting, Kazuya recalls Chizuru telling her about her play. In anticipation of a famous director visiting the theater to cast people for his upcoming production, she was excited. As such, if she did well in the play, she would likely get her big break.
Kazuya decides to go to the theater without telling Chizuru, as it is going to be an important day for her. Unaware that Sumi is sitting right behind him, he settles quietly in the crowded theater, trying to avoid being noticed by her.
Sumi sees Kazuya but decides to let him enjoy the show without interrupting and not disturb him. Chizuru doesn’t appear on stage until the play begins and Kazuya is shocked to discover that she is not the leading actress.
Although he is initially a little concerned about her situation, she quickly makes everyone laugh with her hilarious personality and impressive dialog delivery. A few minutes into Chizuru’s performance, even Kazuya can’t help but laugh.
The audience is moved to tears by Chizuru’s last scene, in which her character dies and switches personalities so naturally. In Kazuya’s opinion, Chizuru has carried the play with her incredible performance, so the director should surely give her an acting role.
However, 30 minutes after Chizuru’s role ends, the play ends, and Kazuya is confident that she will get an acting role from the director. Chizuru is also lost in her thoughts as Kazuya roams outside the theater.
The two accidentally cross paths outside the theater, and Chizuru asks Kazuya what he is doing there. He praises her and says that the play was fantastic while she is mumbling about nonsensical issues.
Chizuru learns from the play’s bill that Kazuya went to see the play for her. In addition to congratulating Chizuru on her acting, Kazuya says she will get the new role for sure.
Despite this, Chizuru explains to him that the other girl won the role because she lacked talent and may give up her dream of becoming an actress. Kazuya tells her that he will keep renting her to make sure she can afford to act.

Kazuya Kinoshita is dumped by his girlfriend, Mami Nanami, after dating for about a month. He then decides to use an online app to rent a girlfriend named Chizuru Mizuhara, a beautiful and attractive girl.
