Yaemori and Kazuya strike a friendship in episode 2 of Rent-a-Girlfriend season 3, titled “Girlfriend Next Door.”
Ruka created a lot of drama at the beginning of the episode. She yelled at Kazuya and Chizuru one by one without letting them explain the situation and even started crying. Chizuru managed to explain to her what was happening.
While Kazuya was working on the film, he got to know more about an optimistic, naive, and cute girl, i.e., Yaemori. At first, Kazuya thought she was strange, but later realized that she was just a very nice cosplayer.

Everything seems to be set for the movie, apart from the script. The script is probably the main thing they need in order to make the movie. Kazuya might get help from Ruka and Yaemori for the same.
Chizuru will spend more time with her grandma. Kazuya’s heart will be in turmoil by all that Yaemori said, and he will try to process the possibility of Chizuru liking him.
I think the plot of the film will be about grandma’s youth. Where Chizuru will play her younger self and bring back some old memories.

3. Episode 2 Recap
Ruka shows up at Chizuru’s house and sees Kazuya. She gets angry at him and asks him what they were doing inside. She yells at both of them and causes a lot of drama.
She enters Chizuru’s room and misunderstands the mess. She starts crying. Kazuya decides to talk things out. She tells Ruka that Kazuya is making a movie for her grandma.
Hearing the story, Ruka agrees to work with them too. This way, she could keep an eye on both of them and spend more time with Kazuya. They both have no problem with it other than some unnecessary overthinking from Kazuya’s side.
Chizuru goes to see her grandma, and they talk about Kazuya. Chizuru asks her grandma if she likes her boyfriend. Grandma replies that despite all his flaws, Kazuya is perfect for Chizuru.
Kazuya shows up near Chizuru’s house to tell her that Shimizu has approved them. She is not too excited about the news. He collects some good money through crowdfunding, but Chizuru tells him that they have lots of work to do as they don’t even have a script.
As he is lost in thought while moving out of his room, Yaemori pulls him into her apartment and tries to get close to him. When she realizes what she is doing, she immediately apologizes.
She shows him the video she made while Ruka was doing all the drama. Kazuya gets worried about Chizuru and tells her everything about their relationship. She is amazed to hear about all the heroic deeds Kazuya has done.
He realizes that she means no harm to him and finds out that she is a cosplayer. She wants to know more about Chizuru, and she becomes her fan when Kazuya tells her about the same.
She tells Kazuya that Chizuru probably likes him. Chizuru is flustered and reluctant to accept this, but Yaemori decides to support their love.
