Remembrance Duplication in Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree – How to do it?

Remembrance is a reward that many bosses in Elden Ring (and the DLC) drop after they are defeated. These remembrances can be traded for a special reward, like weapons and gears, from Enia in Roundtable Hold.

However, for one remembrance, you will get two exclusive reward choices, which means you must choose between two items. Luckily, by duplicating the remembrance, you can claim both of the rewards available for one type of Remembrance.

How to Duplicate Remembrance in Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree?

Players have to interact with the stone coffin altars with a headless skeleton resting atop it to duplicate the Remembrance in Shadow of Erdtree. These stone coffins can be found in three locations within the Realm of Shadows:

  1. Cathedral at Manus Metyr
  2. Finger Ruins of Rhia
  3. Finger Ruins of Dheo

There are only three such coffins in the DLC, and they work only for one duplication each and become inactive thereafter, so choose carefully.

The first Stone Coffin Altar is located in the waters just southwest of the massive Cathedral at Manus Metyr. If you make your way southwards from the Church District Highroad site of grace, you will easily reach here within a minute.

There are no particular enemies or threats in this area, so you should be able to access this altar easily.

II. Location #2 – Finger Ruins of Rhia

The Finger Ruins of Rhia are located at the extreme south of the map of the Shadow Realm in Elden Ring. After finding the Finger Ruins of Rhia site of grace, you have to head eastwards along the path marked by giant finger stone pillars.

After riding to the east for a while, you will find the Stone Coffin among a bunch of finger pillars.

The easiest way to access the Finger ruins of Dheo is via the Shadow Keep, Back Gate site of grace. Head east from there across the stone bridge and you will find yourself in the ruins.

Keep moving eastwards and you will encounter a group of hand/finger enemy creatures. Head north, once you come across a second group of such creatures until you reach the cliffside. The third and last Stone Coffin is in this area.

You have to interact with the coffin and then choose one of the Remembrances to duplicate it.
