After a fun and recap episode, Episode 7, titled ‘Take on the Unpleasant Things,’ revolved around the problems that team Kitayama faced while developing the doujin game.
From Sayuri’s constant visits to Kyoya being caught between the two ladies who share a common love interest, the members faced many complications along the way but somehow kept working on the project.
Sayuri’s issue, however, got resolved when she decided to leave the town. After Tsuruyaki asked her to leave him alone, she asked Kyoya to take care of Tsuruyaki and left.
On the other hand, Nanako and Shinoaki kept making moves on Kyoya. Nanako even declared that she wouldn’t lose to Shinoaki and made Kyoya aware of her feelings.
We bring you the latest episode updates for this anime.
Episode 8 Preview & Speculation
Nanako looks determined and seems like she is competing against Shinoaki. Moreover, Kawasegawa’s advice to stay away from Shinoaki and Nanako confirms that she still likes Kyoya. I wonder if, like Shinoaki and Nanako, she will join the race too.
Although, why Kyoya lied to Kawasegawa when he said he doesn’t feel that way about either of the girls is still unclear. It just doesn’t make any sense because, after those intimate moments between him and Shinoaki, he should’ve gathered his thoughts by now.
It is probably because he is putting his feelings aside until developing the game finishes. As we are getting closer to the end of this season, it feels like the series is focusing more on love angles rather than the character’s personality development.
Nevertheless, the next episode is going to be amazing, and we look forward to getting answers to our questions.

Episode 7 Recap
Sayuri starts living next door and frequently visits the sharehouse as if it is her second home. One fine day, Tsuruyaki tells Kyoya that Sayuri was his childhood friend.
He adds that she always stayed by his side, but he never considered her anything more than a friend.
Furthermore, their engagement was also planned by their parents. Soon, the winter break starts, and Sayuri’s frequent visits become a hindrance for the four.
On the other hand, Nanako continuously tries to get close to Kyoya. On the new year day, when the four return from a shrine, Tsuruyaki even reveals that Nanako had new year plans with Kyoya.
Despite the obligations, the four keep working, and their hard work pays off when finally their doujin game gets ready. One night, while Tsuruyaki works on the project, Sayuri barges into his room and distracts him.
Kyoya coincidentally sees this and informs the other team members. Surprisingly, all of them share the same thought that Sayuri has started to become a problem for them. The following day, Nanako indirectly confesses to Kyoya and says that she is not ready to give up on him.
Being in a dilemma about what to do, Kyoya seeks advice from Kawasegawa, who tells him to avoid being alone with either of them and keep the conversation away from romance.
The same day, Sayuri again barges into Tsuruyaki’s room while he is working. Tsuruyaki couldn’t take it anymore and simply asked Sayuri to leave. The next day, Sayuri reveals to Kyoya that she is leaving the day after.
Doubtful of whether something is there between Kyoya and her fiance, she even asks him if they are dating, to which Kyoya refuses. Kyoya tells her that the game they are working on is like a ticket of freedom for Tsuruyaki. Sayuri leaves after asking him to take care of Tsuruyaki.
