Time to explore the wonder-filled streets of Seacrest County is back as Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is set to hit the markets again. Only this time with up-to-the-date, remastered elements.
The original game was rolled out back in 2010 and it’s fair to say Hot Pursuit knew how to generate the feeling of euphoria. From every destructive crash to thrilling races; NFS: Hot Pursuit knew how to give you an adrenaline rush.
Currently, the racing genre has made many breakthroughs in the industry. The graphics are more than convincing and the mechanics and physics of the game are wholly stupendous.
But even despite such prowess, we see ourselves going back to the classic racing games like Hot Pursuit every once a while. Now with the same getting revamped, how can I control my expectations?
Releasing in November, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will take graphics to the next level. Although, the gameplay will remain unchanged, as controlling the cars would still be like it was in 2010.
But to control the wheels of the last decade’s finest vehicles like Porsche Boxter Spyder and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is what makes the wait so long for me.
It was also announced that this remastered cops ‘n’ robbers game will receive all the DLC that the original game possessed.
On top of that, a revamped photo mode and vinyl wrap editor will be housed by the forthcoming game. You can also track your friends’ accomplishments via a social network thanks to the Autolog.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will be available for platforms like PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Every platform will offer different frame rates in 4K.
For instance, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One will see the game operating at 1080p at 30fps while PC users will be able to play the game at a high of 60fps in 4K.
Another present-day feature to be packed is of cross-platform multiplayer. This implies that players who rely on different platforms can play Hot Pursuit Remastered together.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is priced at $39.99 on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and $29.99 on Steam and Origin.
