In the next episode, titled ‘The Vice Captain of the Knights is Annoying,’ we might see Fran and Shishou trying to explain what happened to the crystal after they defeated the greater demon.

Episode 5 Recap
Since Fran borrowed her sword talents from Shishou, the Greater Demon’s Skill Taker was ineffective. Shishou encourages Fran to direct her attacks at him so that the demon will have to defend him because a Dungeon Master’s summons cannot survive without him.
When the demon tries to grab Shishou, which Fran has thrown at the Dungeon Master, Shishou comes up with a plan to change course and impales the demon, killing him. Before he discloses that he can fix himself, the Shishou’s blade breaks during the operation, leading Fran to believe he is dead.
However, it is revealed that Shishou can revive by absorbing a crystal. The dungeon vanishes once they murder the dungeon master. The rest of the group congratulates her, but Donadrond chastises her for leaving without them first.
As he discloses he acquired Skill Taker, the Shishou reassures her by promising to make her curry.
He also tells Fran that she can use Skill Taker to steal abilities from other humans. Klimt phones Fran and inquires about the gem belonging to the devil. Fran pretends it simply vanished while hiding the truth that Shishou devoured it. Klimt agrees with her, but a knight storms in and accuse her of lying.
About Reincarnated as a Sword
Also known as TenKen, it is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuu Tanaka and illustrated by Llo. It started as a web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in October 2015.
The plot revolves around a person who finds himself in another world reincarnated as a sword after dying in the human world. He has no recollection of his name but weirdly remembers everything else from his life as a human. Accepting his fate, he looks for someone who can own him.
A catgirl slave named Fran soon discovers the sword, uses it to kill a two-headed bear, and gives it the name “Teacher”. The duo then embarks on an adventure.
