The developers behind Dishonored, Arkane Studios, are back with their latest game Redfall, a co-op first-person vampire shooter. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass the day it’s coming out which is sure to increase the game’s player base at launch.
The game is shaping up to be one of Xbox’s biggest exclusive releases this year, barring Starfield, with the company pumping out multiple Redfall themed controllers and also making the game available on Game Pass Day 1. But the day players will be able to play the game will vary based on region.
The official Twitter page for Redfall posted global release times for the game with the announcement that preload is available. Interestingly, the launch for the game is slated for May 2, but players in the Americas will be able to play the game a day early on May 1.
The game will launch globally at the same moment but what exact time that moment will be, will vary due to various time zones. For example, according to the post, gamers in Austin, Texas will be able to play the game at 7PM on May 1, which is earlier than the expected release date. But if you take a look at the timing for London, players there will be able to start playing the game at 1AM on May 2. So, it all depends on time zones.
Redfall has been creating quite the hype and some controversies too, so the lead up to the launch hasn’t been all that smooth as it was officially announced that Redfall will not be launching with a 60FPS performance mode.Other than that, the game is shaping up to be one of Xbox’s biggest exclusives this year, and if you’re a Game Pass subscriber, there’s no reason for you to not give the game a shot.
