Marvel prides itself on being on top of its game by pre-planning timelines spread out in the films through decades.
The MCU has always been interconnected, bringing pieces together during the post-credit scenes of their films that ultimately come back later in the newer films.
The MCU timeline is complicated, to say the least, but a Redditor has made a spreadsheet that breaks the entire franchise down to arrange it scene by scene.
Reddit user u/lux-in-flux has posted a spreadsheet on subreddit r/marvelstudios containing the entire MCU timeline as it occurs throughout the years.
I just barely managed to get this done before Loki messes with time! Whew. I made a Google Sheet that breaks down all of the movies, shorts, and MCU-related shows in chronological order by scene – with timecodes.

Along with MCU canons, there is also the entire chronology for TV shows divided into groups. The spreadsheet contains everything related to the adaptations of marvel comics, i.e., Marvel Studios filmography (including Disney+ content), ABC shows, Netflix shows, and Hulu/Freeform shows.
This chronology is based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe Timeline. However, it is not concerned with the timeline of exact dates and years. Instead, it is concerned with what order the scenes from each work take place in.
The document also includes specific time stamps for when scenes begin and end, like moments from Thor, The Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man 2 that take place at the same time. There are descriptions for each scene, explaining its relation to the others around it.
The upcoming Disney+ series Loki, which premieres on June 9, is guaranteed to mess up the timeline as the show’s plot revolves around time travel.
Kang the Conqueror, a time traveler in the comics, is also set to appear as the main villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Other Phase 4 projects like Black Widow will occur during an earlier timeline, i.e., the pre-Endgame era where Natasha Romanoff is still alive.
As mentioned in the spreadsheet, this timeline order has not been confirmed officially by Marvel Studios.
Yet, it answers all the questions you might’ve had that weren’t directly answered in the films and series. A quick run-through might be the refresher you need for the upcoming Phase 4 projects.

About Marvel Cinematic Universe
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films and TV series, independently produced by Marvel Studios and based on characters that appear in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
The franchise includes comic books, short films, television series, and digital series. The shared universe, much like the original Marvel Universe in comic books, was established by crossing over common plot elements, settings, cast, and characters.
