Red Dead Redemption 2, when it came out in 2018, was revolutionary in terms of gameplay and graphics. It became one of the highest-rated open-world Western games mainly because of the scale and the depth to which Rockstar went to ensure the best possible gaming experience.
Recently, Brazilian Gaming outlet Universo Nintendo’s journalist Felipe spotted that Brazil’s Game Rating Board revealed a Nintendo Switch version of Red Dead Redemption 2. This is in addition to the existing consoles, i.e., PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

It must be kept in mind that the rating for the Nintendo Switch could also be an oversight. However, this is unlikely because Red Dead Redemption 2 was initially released for the older gen Stadia console.
The timing is also great, given that Rockstar Games released the Switch and the PlayStation 4 ports of the original Red Dead Redemption in August.
Since the Switch is quite a few years old, the hardware might have to pay heavy taxes to run Red Dead Redemption 2. A more viable alternative is that the title will be streamed from a server and available in a cloud version.

A cloud version would be a safer alternative for the developers if at all, a Switch version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is in the works. This would avoid all the visual bugs, poor graphics, and glitches that players are currently experiencing while playing Mortal Kombat 1 on the Switch.
Also, Red Dead Redemption 2’s native versions for the current gen consoles, i.e., PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, were also revealed. This resulted in a massive FTC leak from early 2022, announcing Xbox’s plans.
It must be kept in mind that the current-gen consoles run a port of Red Dead Redemption 2. With native support, newer highs can be unlocked with improved graphics and a truly immersive Red Dead Redemption 2 experience. Until official confirmation from Rockstar, players can take Arthur out for a ride across the Wild West on their PlayStations, Xboxes, or PCs.
