Nendoroids are a venture of the Japanese Good Smile Company. Launched in 2006, these plastic figurines use their unique style of smaller bodies and large heads to give off an adorable appearance. Their latest project is based on the characters of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Nendoroids recently tweeted out the first look at the designs of Shinji Ikari and Kaworu Nagisa from “Rebuild of Evangelion” and they look dashing.

The series has been getting a lot of attention recently and that implies that Nendoroids of more characters of the series will also be announced in the near future. Rebuild of Evangelion is the retelling of the original series Neon Genesis Evangelion.
It is a film series which consists of four parts, out of which one is yet to be released. The film tetralogy uses 3D CG animation and provides new scenes, settings and characters, with a completely new conclusion in the fourth film.

Initially released in 1995, this series revolves around Shinji Ikari, who was recruited by his father to battle giant monsters (called Angels) in enormous mecha suits (called Evangelion).
