Nowadays isekai has become a genre where you can see any amount of crazy ideas and still not be surprised.
Take “Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon” as an example. No, I am not pointing out its unnaturally long title as crazy. I’m talking about its protagonist who is literally a dispenser!!
With its upcoming manga adaptation, we are going to dive into the vending machine chronicles head-on!
The light novel, Reborn as a Vending Machine I Now Wander the Dungeon, is receiving its manga adaptation which will serialize from 27th August in the Dengeki Daioh issue!
The mangaka of DanMachi is behind the creation of this manga! The new visual for the upcoming manga can be found here:
It is not a surprise that the visual features a vending machine as the whole plot revolves around it anyway. The yellow background, however, further highlights it and in a way depicts the love for the machine!
Dengeki Daioh’s August issue will publish the new manga on 27th August, while the original light novel was published by Kadokawa.
The light novel was written by Hirukuma while the illustrations were made by Ituwa Kato!
All of us have something inanimate that we love dearly, but dying for it would be quite extreme. I think that’s what makes the light novel a little eccentric as it talks about a middle-aged man, who dies in an accident to save a vending machine.
Now that truck-kun’s job is done, the guy finds himself reborn as a vending machine himself! Talk about irony and cruel fate.
Now I’d like to see just how a machine that can’t even talk or move on its own survives in a dungeon where ferocious beasts lurk.
