Vinland Saga Chapter 208: Release Date, Speculations, Read Online

Thorfinn and his friends get attacked by the Lnu army in chapter 207 of Vinland Saga, titled “Thousand Year Voyage Part 16.”

It was a tense chapter. Thorfinn was able to save himself from the incoming attacks. However, he and his friends had to part ways so that they could warn the village and also stall enemy attacks at the same time. 

Things got worse at Gudrid’s side as she faced difficulty in delivering her baby, and now the Lun army had surrounded her hut. Cordelia tries to take a stand and fight the enemy, but she ends up getting brutally injured.

3. Chapter 208 Discussion 

Thorfinn and his friends will try their best to stop the war against Lnu in chapter 208 of Vinland Saga. 

They are in a dire state of things. Thorfinn is injured and has to deal with all the incoming forces while also trying not to kill them. It is a much more difficult task than simply killing them. 

Cordelia is under fatal threat with nowhere to run. Einar and Bug-Eyes might reach her before it’s too late, but they will have to take the leader of the army by themselves. Will they be safe? Will Gudrid be able to deliver her first baby safely? We will get to know in the next chapter. 

4. Chapter 207 Recap 

Thorfinn and his companions get attacked by some members of the Lnu tribe. Thorfinn cannot see the enemy’s arrow as it is too dark. He covers his friends and takes the arrow for himself. 

After getting shot, he immediately rushes toward the enemy and kicks him in the face, making him unconscious. The other two tribe members prepare to attack him, but one of them gets shot by an arrow on his arm.

Seizing the opportunity, Thorfinn knocks both of them unconscious. He then thanks Hild for saving him (Hild shot the arrow). Thorfinn is injured near his chest, but it is not that serious. 

Thorfinn tells Einar and Bug-Eyes to return to the village, warn everyone about the upcoming attack, and take refuge in the fortress. Einar is frustrated to get ordered around by Thorfinn. Bug-Eyes convinces him to listen to Thorfinn.

Thorfinn and Hild prepare to engage in the enemy. Thorfinn requests Hild that he doesn’t want to kill anyone. Hild agrees to do the same. The enemies begin their attack while Bug-Eyes and Einar take their leave. 

Cordelia knocks heavily on the gates of the hut where Gudrid is delivering her baby. The nurse tells her that she is having trouble as this is her first delivery. The woman asks the whereabouts of Thorfinn. 

They notice that the neighbor’s house is on fire. Cordelia tells the woman to close all the doors and windows and stay inside no matter what. Despite being terrified, Cordelia takes on the charge to fight the enemies. 

The Lnu army headed by Ga’aoqi arrives. They observe Cordelia and marvel at how big she is. Seeing that there is only one way to go out, they start firing arrows at Cordelia. The poor girl crouches helplessly as she is pierced by numerous arrows. 

She cries in pain but is unable even to scream and wishes for Thorfinn to save her.
