He goes to her room and finds Latla laughing at the whole act. Rip asks her about a prediction for the surgery date, but she still hasn’t found one. Instead of that, she declares a different prophecy, one of Rip and Leika’s marriage on June 6.

Latla and Fuuko have discovered the cause of the outbreak, Master Rule UMA Sick. He reveals that Rip’s ability, Unrepair, and the Blade Runner Artifact are the only way to save everyone. He will probably help him awaken his ability with the life of Leika on the line.

Rip will likely have a difficult time finding out what to do as well as awakening his ability. Fuuko is experienced with all of this, and they also have Leika’s future sight ability to help them. Since she’s already predicted a wedding date for June 6, their victory is assured.

Leila grabs his hand before Rip can chase her and asks if she’ll get better. When she was just five, people told her she wouldn’t even live to see twenty. Thanks to Rip, she’s still living now. Leila wants them to be happy on her behalf, even if she has no future, and to move on.

Rip pulls out a wedding ring and scoffs at her for suggesting something. He reassures her that she will get better and live. On top of that, he asks her to marry him. Leila has a massive smile, but she suddenly coughs blood before she can respond.

He calls an emergency and rushes to get her to the ER but learns that multiple patients’ conditions have worsened simultaneously. Leila starts accepting her fate, assuming that her sister got the prediction wrong. Rip screams at her to shut up since Latla’s predictions are absolute; he will save her at all costs.

At the end of the corridor, Latla and Fuuko stop him. Fuuko reveals that the cause of the outbreak is UMA Sick, one of the Master Rule UMAs. She shows him the Blade Runner Artifact and says his Unrepair will save them.
